Nathan Baughn, LCSW, PIP is a licensed social worker with more than 10 years clinical experience providing therapeutic services to adults, teenagers and children. He completed undergraduate work at Saint Louis University in Missouri receiving a Bachelor’s of Science in Social Work. He worked for the state of Missouri for two years before attending the University of Alabama where he received a Master’s degree in Social Work. He has experience providing mental health care to individuals, families, and groups in a number of settings. He treats a variety of conditions including but not limited to mood disorders such as depression and anxiety, people experiencing family relational problems, difficulty adjusting to life stressors, those battling addictions, ADHD, personality disorders, problems managing anger, adjusting to trauma. He also works with those living with severe mental illness such as Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder. He has helped clients with problems related to work and educational challenges. He employs evidenced based approaches tailored to the client’s individual needs and strengths. Mr. Baughn seeks to create an open and nonjudgmental environment where a person can develop the insight and skills they need to overcome the difficulties and challenges they are facing. of mental and behavioral health conditions, and is practiced in multiple treatment modalities.
